☐ Set up utilities for your new home (electric, water, gas, internet, trash)☐ File a change of address with USPS and update billing info
☐ Notify schools, employers, and healthcare providers
☐ Schedule service disconnections at your current home
☐ Plan your travel to Minnesota (flights, hotels, etc.)
☐ Start packing non-essential items and label boxes
2 Weeks Before Moving:
☐ Confirm moving company details and arrival times☐ Pack a “first week” essentials bag (clothing, toiletries, chargers, important papers)
☐ Say goodbye to local friends and tie up loose ends
☐ Double-check weather forecasts and pack accordingly
Arrival Week in Minnesota:
☐ Pick up your new keys and do a home walkthrough☐ Get a Minnesota driver's license and register your vehicle
☐ Update your voter registration
☐ Explore your new neighborhood—grocery store, pharmacy, post office
☐ Celebrate your move with a cozy meal at a local restaurant.
